The following issues have been addressed in this release:
- Various form and electronic filing validation updates.
- Depreciation for foriegn residential property was calculating incorrectly under the ADS method, and has been addressed.

- On Form 1040-ES the tax year printed on the estimated payment voucher was incorrectly displaying 2023. This only impacted printed estimates on 2/16/2022 using version 2021.180. You may want to reprint those vouchers to ensure proper processing by the IRS.

We've added the following forms to ProSeries/1040 for the 2021
tax year:
- Form 14039-B, Business Identity Theft Affidavit
- Form 5471, Schedule G-1, Cost Sharing Arrangement
- Form 8915-F, Qualified Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Retirements
- Form 9000, Request for Alternative Format or Language
- Schedule K-3 (1065), Partner's Share of Income, Deductions, Credits, etc. - International
- Schedule K-3 (1120S), Shareholder's Share of Income, Deductions, Credits, etc. - International

What's New This Year?
Obsolete ProSeries/1040 forms and worksheets
We've removed the following obsolete forms and worksheets from ProSeries/1040
for the 2021 tax year:
- Form 8915-A, Qualified 2016 Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Repayments
- The form is no longer in use by the IRS because the 3 year period is over
- Form 8915-E, Qualified 2020 Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Repayments (Use for Coronavirus-Related Distributions)
- This form has been made obsolete by the IRS and replaced with Form 8915-F
- Form 8917, Tuition and Fees Deduction
- The tuition and fees deduction was made obsolete by the Consolidated Appropriation Act of 2021.

Electronic filing
Electronic filing functionality is available in this release of
ProSeries/1040. The IRS opened for e-file on January 24, 2022.
For electronic filing procedures and information, click the
EF button on the toolbar to go to the EF Center (also
known as the HomeBase Electronic Filing view). The Steps to
E-File section on the right side of the EF Center summarizes the steps
that you take when you file a client's return(s) electronically. In the
Steps to E-File section:
