- Form AR1000F and AR1000NR - Arkansas has not yet adopted the Taxpayer Certainty and Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2019. Calculation updated to calculate a 1% penalty on the total amount of qualified disaster distributions for full year and part year residents.
Items addressed in previous release
- Form AR1000EC PDF Attach - Arkansas no longer supports PDF attachment of Form AR1000EC with e-filed returns. Returns with this form must be printed and filed by mail.
- COVID-19 revised due dates. Return filing and payment due dates have been updated in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
What's new for ProSeries/Arkansas
The following items are new for tax year 2019:
- Tax brackets have changed due to rate changes based on income
- Student Loan Thresholds updated
- Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) account contributions are deductible up to $5,000 per taxpayer
- AGI Limitation on Charitable Cash Contributions increased to 60%
